Virginia Master Naturalist – Riverine Chapter

Virginia Master Naturalists are volunteer educators, citizen scientists and stewards who care about nature and want to help Virginia conserve and manage natural resources and public lands. The Riverine chapter, one of 30 statewide, is home to an enthusiastic contingent of those from the greater Richmond metro area.

While the goal of the program is to “give back,” Riverines get more than just the satisfaction of performing good deeds. Each benefits from the in-depth training and education components as well as the camaraderie of meeting and teaming up with other like-minded people. It’s a win/win/win.
